Hello, My name is Beane. I am a self-taught artist and landscape photographer. I grew up in Manteo and I am an outer banks local. having spent my life on this sandbar, I have developed a deep connection to the ever- changing landscape of the unique place. a lot of people see the beach, but are not always aware of the true wilderness that exists here. as we all know, life is full of distractions, so it can be easy to take your backyard for granted. My perspective drives me to capture the beauty of not just this place, but wherever my barefeet are, in hopes of sharing that beauty through my images I capture. when I look threw my lens onto a beautiful sunrise or desolate beach, I want to evoke in the viewer the same way I feel on that moment. I feel a purpose to bring to light the beauty, not only of Mother Nature, but of home and share it with others. it is my intention and my hope that thew my work you can feel the fragility of a place that not only demands respect, but inspires a deep appreciation for this place we call home.
